Our flagship Village Development Project aims to transform rural communities into self-sustaining villages.
With over 18.5 million starving South Africans, our approach places a premium focus on food security.
In partnership with Reel Gardening, we are able to provide community members with the resources they need to tackle hunger, and grow bountiful food gardens that feed their families and communities.
We then provide them with the financial skills they need to improve their household wellbeing and generate some income.
Partner with us to feed more families, strengthen communities, and create more opportunities for people across the nation to live well.
“My biggest success was changing a lot of people’s lives. People learnt new skills. They started saving money and sharing produce with the orphanages, churches and schools and families who couldn’t go to the store. Every day we need to eat. I loved that I got to alleviate hunger.”
Rhoudah Makotoani Rapolai, Plant Production Facilitator, Limpopo Lekker Breek
“The spinach was big. The beetroots were big. The learners were excited and proud.”
Charmaine Phahlane, Plant Production Facilitator, North West
“Some of my students formed a big group of 12 and are now selling to the locals. They have learnt leadership, skills and accountability. Every day they are so excited. Every day they ask more questions and can’t wait to water their plants.”
Thulani Mthemb, Plant Production, East Rand Etwatwa
Food security affects a staggering 18.5 million people in South Africa. We thus extend this offering to corporates and other businesses. Why not adopt a site for your CSI project and help end hunger in South Africa?
Your contribution will go towards feeding 1000s of individuals including young children (helping them to grow and do better at school); putting more smiles on more faces; and providing people with the skills they need to improve their personal, household and financial wellbeing.
